Good morning y’all!
Today’s post is going to be short and sweet! The other day my boo and I decided to explore Coachella Valley a little less like tourists and a little more like locals. We found some dope spots, but the first stop we made was the Coachella Valley Preserve. Definitely a must see! This place is perfect for all ages… I’m talking stroller age to walker age. haha Public restrooms and a little shopette are onsite at the beginning of the trails.
There is a lot of walking to be done here, but it is on a maintained pathway (as you’ll see in the pictures below). For those of you not looking to walk much, you can stop at any picnic area and have yourself a seat. You can sit beneath all the beautiful palms and snap a few pictures or enjoy a nice lunch. For those of you looking for a more intense hike, there are several dirt trails! Just be careful on the dirt trails as you are entering a wildlife preserve. You may come across snakes and other animals native to those lands. You’ll find yourself amazed by all the different types of plants out here.
Some trails are fully shaded and others you are completely out in the open so make sure to wear sunscreen!
What To Bring:
- I recommend bringing a good amount of water a
- Maybe a lunch for a nice picnic … remember to Pack it in and Pack IT Out

Shaded pathway between the palms. Easy enough for a stroller to travel or even those with knee restrictions.
