Well since we are already carving pumpkins we might as well make use of the pumpkin seeds. Am I right? If you know me at all, by now, I dislike wasting perfectly useful things. Many people will carve their pumpkins and throw out all that good stuff aka seeds & puree. DON’T be like them. ha,ha. Save that stuff and make nutritious snacks, pies, and even tasty pumpkin spice smoothies for those basic people in your life. lol!
Let’s Get To Cooking:
- 1 1/2 cups Raw, Whole Pumpkin Seeds
- 2 tsp. butter,melted
- 1 pinch of Himalayan Sea Salt
- 1 pinch of Fresh Black Pepper (optional)
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Rinse and dry pumpkin seeds. In a bowl mix melted butter, salt, pepper, and pumpkin seeds until thoroughly coated. Place evenly on a baking sheet…try and make a flat layer spread out over your baking sheet. Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes or until crispy and brown.
Seriously, it is that simple! Pumpkin seeds are a delicious + nutritious snack.
